Template Price not visible until you apply it

When you choose a bundled pricing template from the product list (eg when wanting to give a client as estimate for a routine procedure), the price is not visible from that list.  You have to apply the template to an estimate (time consuming) rather than just glancing to get a rough idea.

Anyone else getting around this problem?

Issues With Label Printing

I'm trying to print client and patient labels on a Seiko 450 Smart Label Printer (SLP) as a Form from the Documents page of a patient medical record.

Advice for 1.5 beta 2 update

Hi All,

We're just about to have the 1.5 update installed, a bit late I know!

I've searched the forums to see if there was a document outlining the changes that I could send to staff. I've managed to find a two page information sheet that I've copied and attached but it's not very user friendly. I rarely use OpenVPMS anymore so I'm struggling a bit knowing what's going on when people have been talking on the forums about problems with orders of visits being incorrect.

Drug Label Printing

I am sure this is a really obvious fix but I can't figure it out, so hope someone can help...

When printing medication labels on our drug label printer, if you change the quantity from 1 to 2 or 3 or whatever, we still only get 1 label printed.

We use the same printer to print our patient labels (same roll of paper etc). If you print these and change the quantity to 2 or 3, we do get the amount we requested. Therefore, I don't think it is a problem with the printer or printer set up.

Is it something in the medication template that I need to change?

Searching for in progress consults

Hi everyone, I apologize if this has already been asked as I'm new to the forums, but I was wondering if there was a way to get a list of visits that are listed as 'in progress' rather than completed? It would be helpful to be able to pick up histories that haven't been written. Cheers, Eleanor

Invoice Notes

Is anyone finding that they would like the number of characters on the invoice notes to be increased? We don't mean a whole page of home care notes but we often find we need a little more room for detail?

Email "Purposes Available"

We were about to send out emailed newsletters, but we have had a few clients who did not want to be sent an email newsletter, although they were happy to give us their email address. I noticed the choices at the bottom of the Client Contacts page when adding an email address - such catagories as Billing, Reminders, Correspondance, Postal etc. Is this how we can define what a client can be sent and what that can't be sent?

Active Clients by Year Report

I have tried to run this report and realise that it only reports in calendar years (I think). I wanted to find out how many active clients in the last financial year but it reports them as 2 separate 6 month numbers, where I believe there would be some cross over (clients represented in both 6 month groups) & this would not reflect the true number for that 12 months. Any suggestions?

Documents in Medical Records

I find a patient's Medical Records hard to read (understand that this will be better in 1.5) because of the large number of patient documents occupying space - certainly adds to the clutter on this page. All these documents are listed in the Document page by clicking on that tab.

Is there any way of not having all these documents on the Medical Records page? Seems like you are doubling up and just takes up space. I have not found a purpose to them as yet.

Automatically generate an order.

Hi,

Would others see benefit in being able to automatically generate an editable order in open based on stock location ideal and critical levels rather than having to run a report and manually create each line?
