Hi,

A couple of companies offer a rebate on their products. This is not discounted from the wholesalers price, rather we get a rebate at the end of the month. We would like to pass this on to the client. Rather than changing the cost price in the product set up, is there a way to add a discount or rebate amount to the product?

I'd like to do this so that when I am checking cost prices against wholesaler invoices or when they do a price increase, I don't have to remember to factor in the rebate (that is separate).

We're currently using OpenVPMS Version 2.0-beta-2-SNAPSHOT (7814) and I'd like to see some changes in the headings/format of the patient reminder tab.

On the version we're using there is no reminder start/creation date, I've attached a picture of what the reminder tab looks like.

The headings at the moment are Next Due Date in Column 1 and First Due Date in column 2.The next due date changes as the reminder count goes up. Is the Next Due Date necessary as it seems to complicate things.

Bit of background 

I have a reminder setup for Bravecto a 3mthly Flea and Tick preventatitive

I set the reminder up to send an SMS when its due ...and follow that up by listing the reminder and doing a callback to the client.

All good so before 2.0 it was sending the sms and then the following week it would list the reminder ( we searched and sent reminders every week)

Now the new system does the queue automatically.

Currently, Templates don't sync to smartflow for billing purposes.  I am wondering if this limit can be removed so that a smart flow procedure could be linked to an OpenVPMS template. 

Most procedures done at a vet practice really require templating if you're going to manage stock effectively...i.e - a Fluid Setup might use a catheter or two, iv line, bag of fluid, etc - all individual stock items that need tracking and reordering.

It with is with great sadness that I have to report that Tim Gething passed away last week.

Many of you will have benefitted from Tim's contributions to this forum and the OpenVPMS community as a whole but not so many knew of the health problems he has had over the last 18 months and to which he has finally succumbed.

We have a cloud server. when we invoice a Vetnostics test and print the form, there is a very long delay until the form prints. Does anyone else have this problem? does anyone have a fix?

This isn't a major issue, but I've noticed it so thought I'd mention it.

I've created repeating calendar blocks on my schedules. I now need to edit these calendar blocks - changing the start time to 30 minutes later, but finishing at the same time. This is therefore changing the total time of the calendar block.

When I do this change, on the following days the start time hasn't changed, but the finish time has reduced by 30 minutes to match the total time of the calendar block.

How do we use templates to give estimates to prospective clients without using a specific pet? For instance when someone rings up about a dental, when you look up products, there is no price.
